Can't believe I wasted 6 hours of my life on this rubbish. Episode 1 had me hooked, then it continued to turn terrible from there on in.
Terrible acting, terrible script.
I was frustrated how long it took each of the "infected " characters to actually get inside the mud room or from one end to the other. It took most of an episode for Fulmer to get to Baz, touching each leaf at a time on his way. He took less time recovering from the burns. And when he was trying to deactivate whatever the process was, he did it by pulling one wire out at a time, setting off an alarm and plugging it back in to stop the noise. There were only 3 wires, he tried 2 and gave up!
Baz's role in the entire plot was as a rambling horticulturalist talking rubbish.
Expected the miserable Welsh guy to save the day and become the hero, but no.
There was no point to any of the back stories, including the pregnancy 'bombshell' - funny how she was willing to put her precious unborn child that she wanted so much, at extreme risk of infection by entering the contaminated area. Or the relationship between the American woman and Fulmer. Nothing happened other than her terrible concerned facial expressions when he was in the treatment room with severe burns for all of 5 minutes, and a bit of handholding at the end.
No-one raised the alarm with the bosses when they discovered important evidence such as the presence of an intruder, who incidentally was left alone ALL THE TIME to kill people and cause mayhem.
Typical horror story clichés: Don't go in! Don't leave the baddie alone in the most important room on the rig! Don't split up! Don't unlock your fall arrest! Don't forget to water the plants! Don't feed the Welsh man after midnight!
I was invested and had to see the terrible plot through to the bitter end. The most exciting part was when I discovered there were only 6 episodes and not 8!
