The movie plot is SO much different from the book and the casting is awful. I’ve watched 10 mins only and have already met Francesca. The reason why Lina goes to Italy is for a high school graduation gift her mom wanted her to go on. Howard is writtten as Irish not American. Lina meets Ren at a market and there’s no mention of the hill or Lina being a runner. Lina is fluent in Italian. Instead of Thomas there’s Alessandro(who isn’t even British). Lina lives w Fran in the city and not w Howard in the cemetery. The whole entire plot is completely different, couldn’t even watch 20 mins of it.
