Starting right off into the first episode, you know that this not a kids show. Even if you're not a critical role fan who has never watched the campaigns, new viewers and lovers of D&D will still be able to follow the story the same way how Arcane had been written for a wide audience. Plenty of comedy, and sprinkles of sexual innuendos without being too much; everything feels well paced and every character has their chance to shine. You get drama, tension, some scares and even some "Awww"s. Hopefully season 2 is just as good!
