Genuinely one of the best experiences I have ever had with a video game. I only started playing it because it is a fan favorite and a friend recommended it highly, and now, after playing, I will do the same. If you've never played a pokemon game, start with red. If you're a veteran of the franchise play pearl or diamond. But if you're a legend you play emerald, sorry I have a bias.

The superior pokemon game. If you will play no other, play Emerald. Through experiencing every pokemon game, except S&S, I can say with complete certainty that it is the best pokemon game, by far.
