Shesh Jhala

- Good VFX (marred by choppy edits), - fan service cameos (no spoiler but pretty much indulging fans in their most requested desires but then making the cameo characters insignificant players - not comic accurate) - Inconsistent power creep - Script and story were generic - considering both the source material as well as characters involved (including events that have already occurred in past shows like Loki), there was so much wasted potential in this movie - Sam Raimi - understands visual storytelling, little understanding of how to tell a GOOD story (scriptwriters can only do so much if a director doesn't have a coherent vision) - in that respect, very similar to Tobey McGuire spidey movies.

Potholes galore. Logic is not a strong suit of this movie. At its core, feels very different than the books. As far as casual fare goes, it is watchable but won't satisfy fans of the book series
