A decent read with an absolutely lousy ending. One reads 464 pages and comes away with a handful of loose ends. Absolutely nothing is resolved after several hours of reading and almost 30 bucks spent. One feels cheated and almost abused as the author seems to say “ OK sucker, you’ve got to give me another 20 plus bucks for my next book to find out what happened “! What was Drew’s ultimate fate? What happens to Kiera and Josie? What is the outcome of the Smallwood case? Jake's financial future? I won’t say that I won't read his next book but I can say with absolute certainty that I will not pay for it!
