This book takes the reader into a little known group , the Black American upper class. It acquaints you with it's origin. Moreover, it informs you of the qualifications of membership. According to the book, income and fame alone was not enough. Some well known wealthy African Americans you might expect to be members were not. The book is a good read and l highly recommend it.
