The teacher read it to the 6th graders and they enjoyed it. I then read it to my 4th grade boy and 2nd grade girl. They loved it. I dropped some hints early on to keep them interested before the action really picked up. I am looking in to more books by him to share with my kids.
(Twice a character has a gun pointed at him, but it quickly passes and nothing comes of it.)
