Some cool ingredients, but the recipe was butchered into a slurry mess. Went in with really low expectations and was still disappointed. Everything that made the original so good - the game-changing action, thought-provoking concepts, impossibly menacing antagonists, interesting peripheral characters, well-crafted character arc - was simply missing from this imposter. I'm sad, and want my 147 minutes back.
