Why was this movie made? Masterpiece Smashterpiece. I like revenge movies, but dang. The special effects person deserves whatever he earned though. Almost gave me chainsaw envy. Nick Cage needs to find a good script that is deserving of his talent.

Women watch movies. Asking a woman to endure watching a violent rape scene not once but twice for "artistic" reasons just shows men have not evolved since medieval times. C'mon Ridley Scott, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Grow some empathy.
