If you like the games and you're someone who knows things about the lore then you'll definitely like the show. Cavill managed to immerse himself and come up with a very authentic Geralt. It's true that he tried to imitate Doug Cockle's voice, but he nailed it. Cavill's version of Geralt is very well performed. You can feel the effort and dedication put into the character. They did a good job for real ( except for Triss maybe, but it's too early to judge). Overall, it's a great show. I really hope they keep the spirit and make season 2 as good as well.
