This is one of the worst shows out there for public consumption. The few episodes that I have had the misfortune of seeing, have left me reeling with the highest forms of disgust. Even if we were to forget the cliche troupe, criminally dumb dialogues, and the most pathetic plotline, the amount of misogyny and toxic behavior seen in the entire show, all for the sake of drama, is enough to make any self-respecting woman, or for that matter, human, drop this serial in a matter of seconds. The fact that this is being aired all through so many households is literally a disappointment for society. I am ashamed to say that this serial is in my mother tongue. The whole main family in the story radiates misogyny, patriarchy, lack of privacy, and explicit interference in other people's matters to the point where it becomes exceedingly uncomfortable. While it may seem harmless as a sole serial, these are the types of problematic productions that are witnessed by lakhs of people and these are the types of pathetic ideals that little children are growing up watching inevitably when the adults watch them. In my opinion, this serial should be stopped and the money for its production should be used for better causes.
