Have LOVED the show and watched all of the seasons. HOWEVER, I HATE how the band drowns out the voices in almost every performance. The band is great, but this is a contest between voices; not band with one performer vs band with another performer. This has been true for a couple of seasons, but getting worse. This failure to have a good TV audio mix hides both a good performer's true vocal talent as well as hides the poor performer's poor pitch. I am almost to the point at which I start using my TV time on other shows.
