Nothing that happens in the movie has any real impact until the very very end. That leaves you stuck in the same slow revolving plot line for 3 1/2 hours. The only action was purposely made very abrupt as a shock factor. That only had you wishing for more substance but then you'd have to sit through even more of this movie so maybe not.
