Not a popular opinion, i know the show has overwhelmingly positive reviews. But i have to say the ending was very disappointing. SPOILER BELOW I found a lot of the scenes to drag on and be uneccesarily artsy just for the heck of it. And then the world does not end at the end of the season. Which is the obvious climax of the series, Netflix calls it a limited series so im not expecting a second half. Nothing felt wrapped up to me whatsoever. Shows always do this, make promise after promise and save the obvious climax for season 2 or 3 and then they dont get greenlit. Leaving you with 12 wasted hours of invested time and no satisfying conclusion. The Mist tv show did the same thing along with countless others.
