It’s the single best piece of httyd media. Having spent a literal 1000 hours of my life watching it, I can confidently say that it is better than the ladder 2 films (maybe not the first). What does do really well is solidifying the relationship between the riders, as well as going in depth on each and every one of them. The villains are also significantly better than the ones in the films, one of them can even be considered the best villain in any animated series. Not to mention the incredible new dragons and witty humor. To anyone who enjoyed the first film, I would highly recommend this series.
