They don’t establish any emotional connection with any of the characters. You’re confused the whole movie on what you’re cheering for. There’s numerous events that don’t come full circle and you’re left with questions. 4 of the 8 main characters die - 2 bad, 2 good.. this did not help creating connection to the characters.
Really disappointing if you binge watch all the others and expect the actual plot to make sense with the others. I’ll say 3/10 because apes riding horses and eagles are pretty sweet.
