Evelyn Renee

This movie started out pretty strong. Great diversity and mood. But by the midway pint it got boring real fast. The practical effects looks great but are so briefly shown you barley see the work that went into it. I don't know if Hulu suddenly got nervous about making the film too graphic but they seem to have missed what makes it a horror movie. It thinks it's deeper than it is. I really do like the lead actress but the film is boring and could have been a great reboot if they committed to the gore and chaos that makes it Hellraiser.

This could have been so cool. But it's basically a remake that should have been a stand alone.
