Reading some of the comments and reviews, some people don't understand dark comedy. Which is unfortunate because this is a funny movie. The worst thing about it is that haircut, right up there with the antagonist in No Country for Old Men.

The scenery is nice. The acting is a cheesy soap opera with a lot of posturing and posing and random overblown personal conflicts. The police procedural component is trite. The actress playing the police commissioner is in over her head, & completely not plausible.
