The Supporting Cast and writing shines, unfortunately the lead is a limp blonde who doesn't know how to be the lead character. Being ill-fitted to the role, her costumes wear her rather than she owning them! Loved the writers' original redhead lady detective premise too bad they miscast the lead actress, prefer her "mother" instead. Will invest my time on "Miss Scarlet and the Duke" and "Miss Fisher" where the lady detectives know who they are with inner spark, chemistry, and class!
