One of the top three metroid like castlevania game's. It's more balanced and it has a little bit of length to it not to mention some replay value. Graphically it's awesome. The animation is super smooth and the level detail is even better than symphony of the night. They really went all out it seems on this one. This is a solid 9 out of 10. Highly recommend it.

Ok here is an unpopular opinion. I have played many of metroid like castlevania games. I prefer Circle of the moon over this one. That said it's not a bad game at all. I would say a solid 8 out of 10. I say that because Circle of the moons card system was awesome and it feels like everything was thought out more thoroughly. This one if you really rush through I finished at level 50 , in around 6 hours? That's without a guide? Very short and the difficulty is unbalanced. It starts off super easy witch is part of the reason you sail through over 50% in two hours. The other 4 to 5 hours is the last half, where grinding becomes more necessary. My top three metroid like castlevanias would go Symphony of the night , Circle of the moon and Dawn of Sorrow. I just feel each one of those is much more thought out. Again not a bad game by any means I would recommend it to any one. It's just I feel there are much better entries in the series. The top three I would give a 9.5 , a 9 and a 9. Then I would go with portrait of ruin a 8.5 .That's just me though. I definitely feel this one could have been more balanced and just a tad longer.

I just don't understand square sometimes. Final Fantasy 10 has some huge hang ups. Blitzball is the worst , most rage inducing mini game ever invented. They give you a ridiculously bad team. The main saving grace for 10 is the story and after a certain point the gameplay gets extremely addicting. Sure it has some rediculous mini games. The worst honestly out of any FF period. You can get better and even win every game. You yourself have to decide if that is worth it. Like I said the story and gameplay in X are honestly extremely good. Heck even some of the side quest other than blitzball are awesome. X-2 removes the glue that held X together which is the story . The story in X2 makes little sense. What's more is the combat system is actually good. It's the power puff girls atmosphere and lack of decent story that really makes this one drag. It sucks to because we all wanted to know what happend to Tidus. He is little more than a side story? Since they come bundled now you can check it out yourself but I have yet to find anyone who has even finished it. Sucks to because even with the all female team this game has an excellent battle system. It just lacks everything else.

Woke Kombat. I hear people complaining the females are not showing off the goods? The real reason it's woke combat is because it has begun to introduce female versions of fighters from other timeliness. Also Jared and Sindel are in one body now? Like it's not super woke but you can tell it has enough sprinkled in to make you cringe in spots. Other than that this is an expansion to mortal kombat 11. Trust me it is. Remember when you get to choose who wins on 11? Well that ties directly into this. That coupled with the rediculous price and prices for dlc are why I can't give this more than a 7 out of 10. Other than that the switch Version is great at least to me. Sure it has issues but I have had fun with it. Not a 8 , 9 or a 10 but entertaining for sure at least for a bit. The loading times at the end on switch do get stupid though so fair warning. Makes you even wonder why they even put it on switch???? Graphics wise it's not to bad. However the problem is they take cut scenes from the higher end versions instead of just using the switch Graphics which makes absolutely zero sense to me. Let's face the truth guys. Mortal kombat has become mediocre at best. We got part one through three and after that part 4 sucked let's all be honest here. Then deadly alliance was ok. Deception gave me hope . Armageddon was ok at best. Then part 9 was the best one since part 3. Deception almost was a 9/10. Part nine was the best in a very long time. Then I personally was not impressed with mortal kombat x at all. Then part 11 gave me hope again. Then here we are back to mediocre. There are way better fighting franchises out there and they respect your money way more than this developer does trust me. Go for king of the fighters , street fighter , samurai showdown and I can name a ton of fighters that just outshine mortal kombat in every way. Fatalities were a novelty for a bit but let's be honest the wow factor is gone now and mortal kombat could have been a great franchise but at this point it is safe to say there are maybe two to four games that are good. The rest just suck.

I have only played two. Monster hunter ultimate 4 and now this. Rise is definitely worth a look. The online and offline both work great. If your anti social like me then online play can get a little silly unless you know the people you are playing with. Then it's super fun. Playing with randoms is not bad but you can tell they purposely mess around to much. Then my other only complaint is how they have not figured out how to stream line everything yet? The core premise is simple. Kill monsters , collect the parts and craft or upgrade new weapons and armor. The moves are extremely deep. Then there is zipping around , gathering stuff and it's all fun , I just wish it was easier to catch onto. However this game rewards the bold who press on. Before you know it you will be zipping around , riding your dog and slaying monsters. Then you will be like everyone else. Saying man that was a steep learning curve, but this game is fun!

Ax the " message " from the show and it would be good. Tired of woke and I don't care who hates that word cause it's true. To much woke for me. They think if they wrap the message in a fallout package it will do better. Somehow people are raving about it?

Diablo 2 is like Diablo 3 slowed wayyyy down. Diablo 2 is a slog fest to me.Designed to do nothing more than eat up your time.Getting sets and gear is a nightmare in this one. At least Diablo 3 keeps the pace going with seasons and rifts and bounties. Trust me Diablo 3 gets rid of all the slow non sense from this one and speeds it all up. Two things would make this game awesome. #1: make it to where if you unlock all the way points on normal, they are unlocked on nightmare and hell also. #2: make the stash bigger. Those two alone would make it actually fun.

What really blows my mind is how underlooked this game is graphically.Tons of animations, scrolling effects and color make this game look smooth and pop. Some of the best graphics from the 16-bit era in my humble opinion. It is also huge and varied with lots to do and all your skills get put on display right from the first level. Wacky humor, impressive visuals and sound even now and you should have a groovy time.

It actually improves the original and even the small side story content is good .I was like hmmm Nintendo remakes are usually the best because they understand not ruining what made the original so great. Remakes are hit and miss with some.For instance Panzer dragoon remake was an awesome graphical upgrade from the original. The real problem with that is it did not try to improve upon anything while still keeping true to the original. While I am sure fans loved it like myself.I for one would have been all in favor of some improved shooter mechanics and faster paced gameplay maybe a super hard mode or something.Then there is the super star saga that improves every aspect of the original. This game improves the control of the original to a phenomenal degree.It tweaks and improves even little things. The graphics while not mind bending are a very nice upgrade and look fantastic.This is the definitive version of the super star saga and it is good.

Man this game is mind blowing in its own right.This is the cream of the 16 bit , platform crop.It even beats out super mario world. Amazing graphics , layers of back grounds , scrolling , music , tight controls , awesome level design, devious 3-d special stages, and 2 playable characters. However if you plug this in to sonic and knuckles the adventure becomes giant even by todays standards.Its hard to mention one without the other.I remember when sonic 3 first came out.It blew my mind from lush green jungles to amazing carnival inspired zones.Plug it into to sonic and knuckles and no 16 bit platformer compares to this day to this giant powerhouse. Alone or with sonic and knuckles its amazing but combined its an incredible timeless adventure.
