I think the episodes are EXCELLENT! When the first movie came out, we didn't have the technology then that we have now. But he'll, when we had to read the books in high school many of us put JRR Tolkien books down be cause they were far fetched for young minds. But now in 2022 & we have the episodes available to us, I don't mind watching. For me it's been a really long wait! I'm totally enjoying (each episode) it lol I watch'em 2-3 times a week to see if I can make sense of all the lines lol It's a whole lotta accent in there but hey, it's all good (don't add no more accent lol.)
