MCU films churn out spectacle brilliantly, and Thor is enjoyable to watch because he's Thor. We know him, we love him.
I've started to get a little annoyed by him. Awkward joking about women warriors in Ragnarok was one thing, but a joke he makes about a feast..... Seriously?
Korg was my favourite MCU character going into this, but you could cut him out the movie and not change anything. What a shame for the legend who didn't print enough pamphlets.
When they announced Natalie Portman's return, it was a downer for me. She's fine in other things, but Jane is dull and remains dull. Once again Marvel tries to make a romantic Thor film. Why? Thor 1 and 2 were romantic Thor films that are too boring to rewatch and Ragnarok waa hilarious and insane. The romantic stuff in L&T dragged for me. Improvement on T1 and T2 but give me Jeff Goldblum's grandmaster singing about what we sees over heartfelt gazes of two hot humans any day.
A fresh cameo that I hadn't heard about beforehand, and a very satisfying one.
Oh yeah, the comedy? Weak. Like everything Taika did in Free Guy. L&T's comedy is more like dirty Ryan Reynolds than Flight Of The Conchords, and that's a shame. Where was Rhys Darby in thia movie? Could have had a Revengers' meeting.
Confusing mid and post credit scenes. Setting something up? Possibly? Who can say?
