The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window

Just awful and very disappointing in light of the cast. The story is completely implausible from start to finish. This is billed as a "satire" of the classic mystery genre, but is extraordinarily uneven in its execution. It is not consistently satirical, humorous or engaging. The main character is utterly feckless and the premise for her distress is beyond ridiculous. A bad plot and poor writing do not equate to satire (quite the opposite, in fact). This was just plain bad. Do yourself a favor and devote 3 hours of your life to something (almost anything) better.
