An interesting reading, easy to understand complex issues with simple technique which in 1980s was most favourite subject. Although I moved to to an obscure area of research, Game theory I continue to enjoy reading I-O models and their applications.
I first met Prof Geoffrey Hewings in Groningen in at the European Regional Science conference in 1982 and encouraged me to do my PhD in US and also provide helpful testimonials. He inspired me to write a few papers on I-O models both theoretical and empirical in late 1980.
