Stupid movie and a complete waste of time; luckily I streamed it from home so it was easy to walk out so I didn’t have money or safety to jeopardize. Pretentious Pfeiffer again demonstrates her inability to provide a credible character through her (over) acting. The movie is not comedy but a grotesque attempt to make money from a poor script and even poorer acting. The only redeeming factor, if I can say this, are the Parisian scenes which are stuck in just to try to save it. Michelle Pfeiffer is her usual stiff self and seems to feel she needs to overact with the craziness of the story to where you just see Pfeiffer the “actress” rather than an eccentric character in a crazy storyline. Pfeiffer is ordinarily a beautiful woman but who has here been rendered creepy and gaunt with her makeup but this didn’t help the movie. I did learn what a “French Exit” is (leaving a party without saying goodbye or thanking the host). Final comment—skip this movie.
