The ending of this movie was disturbing, but logical. One commenter said something about a shotgun, which I had missed. If so, then Peter and/or Warren could use it to take out some of their adversaries. But their RV has been crippled; so the options remain few and desperate. Their future, if any, is bleak at best.

Hadn't seen this marvelous film since it came out in 1961. I remember conversations with my father about it. As a vet he knew a lot about the subject matter, such as the German couple who were holocaust deniers. Someone in this line of commenters said something about the Soviet Union, which had no relevance in this case. Montgomery Clift should have gotten the best supporting actor award. What a heartbreaking performance.

Never had the chance to see "Danger Man" until now. In the '60s I worked nights when it was shown. As only a half-hour show it didn't have the time to be as good as when it became the great one-hour program "Secret Agent." Patrick McGoohan was simply great as John Drake.

So far I am finding the portrayals of Monica and Bill to be two-dimensional at best. Monica comes across as an unusually naive and dense little girl, not a 20+ year-old young woman. If Monica was anywhere near the way she is portrayed I would think that she would not have wanted any part of this production. The actress ("Beanie?") playing her part seems perpetually dressed in a fat suit -- no insult -- and doesn't look like someone who would be compelling to an older man. As for Bill Clinton, Clive Owen is trying hard, but not successfully. He comes across as someone with no presence and not an ounce of sex appeal. I hope that the remaining episodes are drawn out better than the first two.
