Sonic Frontiers is the BEST Sonic game in history. The open world (or open zone as the game likes to market it) is really fun to traverse. And don't even get me STARTED on the puzzles. I love the puzzles because they unlock part of the map. It's really satisfying when all the pieces of the puzzle are placed. The Cyberspace stages (while probably being the weakest aspect of the game) have some charm to them. Holy heck, IS THAT GREEN FORE- Sorry. And then there's the Super Sonic fights. I LOVE the fights. Move aside, Dark Gaia. My favorite fight is probably either Giganto or Wyvern. Nah, it's Wyvern. SONIC THROWS HIM AGAINST A CLIFF! Anyway, the story, while not being the most groundbreaking, is very good. I feel like a lot of character development is going on. And then there's the islands. Kronos, Ares, Chaos, Rhea, and Ouranos. The five Starfall Islands. If I were to be honest, my favorite island is probably Ares. I just like the sand aesthetic. Finally, there's the soundtrack. OH. MY. GOD. Especially after Forces, this was a welcome surprise. I don't like the music in Forces that much, so the fact that we have such good soundtrack is phenomenal. If I were to give this game a rating, it would be 10/10.
