It’s the quintessential blockbuster experience. Yes, the story and plot leave something to be desired, but very few bought a ticket to watch family drama here. Is it a great movie? No. But it’s an almost perfect Godzilla movie.
If you want to watch giant behemoths beat the snot out of each other, this is the movie you’ve waited your whole life for. For Godzilla fans, especially hardcore ones, it’s an absolute must see. I have zero idea how anyone claiming to be a fan of the series wouldn’t watch this and just smile.
Go see it. Long live the King.
