While this was a visually rich film, it wasn't all accurate in context with the time period. The clothes worn by the commoners didn't scream 'poor' and the entire set and cast looked too polished for that time and economic state. the plot was really predictable but wasn't awful in my books. There seemed to be lots of movie errors. If you get shot, you can't just keep going straight away without so much as a limp. Like what was that? The movie had a way of making things that would've been at home in that time period look new and modern to a degree. As if coats (sorry, jackets) would look custom designed and appear as if manufactured. Also, why were Robin and Marian kissing in the middle of a pretty major fight scene??
It was a beautiful film visually, but there wasn't too much else that made it stand out.
