Great casting. Great acting. Good sound design and music. Ok film.
A wafer thin plot with no real turning points or impactful conclusion. For all it's anxiety fuelled adrenaline the film dawdles along and found myself wanting to get to the end quickly.
People talk about it being a story about the wild self-liberation of a man from his mundane life, but a great demonstration of the realities of mental health issues would be more like it.
Wouldn't go out of my way to recommned it.
I think if anything it the narrative made it feel more like play than a film.
And would've fit well at late night on BB2 two on a tuesday, had it been billed as a play, my review would've have been far more postive.
