Definitely worth a viewing or two. Adam Sandler, in the best performance of his career, is a disturbed repressed fellow about to explode at perceived wrongs. His 7 sisters have berated him his whole life and he doesn't know how to deal with his anger. He falls for a kind-hearted girl (the lovely Emily Watson) and falls for a phone sex scam. These two events will send him into an emotional spiral that is hard to watch, but very well done by Sandler.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman has a tiny role, but as always delivers a riveting character.
