First and foremost I'd like to remind the "review police " that we do have the 1st Amendment and you cannot bully people because they do not like the show. So, how dare you to tell us we are not permitted to criticize chef Alex. Now, that I've gotten this off my chest. I admire Alex Guarnaschelli. She is a great chef and I could only wish I could cook like her.
She probably does have some right to be arrogant, but should do that with grace. The show is OK. Nothing to rave about. She'll win 99% of the time and that's boring. The format is almost the same as Bobby Flay's show and that's so boring now too. At least they have Bobby lose once in a while.
I still think Chopped is the best show on Food Network . Also, it's just about money now. Alex is great and she broke, together wiith Cat Cora , the barrier of all chefs are men, but she does not have a Michelin star nor does Bobby Flay for that matter. Anymore. So, now all they do is make money. Alex vs. America is average. There is nothing outstanding or exciting about the show. She can cook, that's for sure. I wish she'd stop telling the audience how much she hates losing. We already know, so pls cook and don't be redundant.
