Absolutely gutted. After all the BBC series, which felt like they had some real authenticity with the live filming, realistic locations and believable characters, this has far too much CGI and hammy lines. Although it would need it as it felt more like a bond villains lair in the end, indeed, the whole ending smells "Bondish"......but this isn't Bond. The villian is Id'd almost instantly in the plot so there's no real suspense there, it's just a cat and mouse tale in which Luther turns into caricature of himself. The finale, particularly with the Female detective and her daughter, is like nothing you'll have seen in the series finales, and not in a good way.
