Excellent film. Austin Butler as Elvis was incredible. Tom Hanks as Col. Parker was, well... he's Tom Hanks. Enough said. Great acting and costumes all around. Several friends said that they didn't like it because it wasn't what they expected and they've never seen a Baz Luhrmann film. His films are similar to Tim Burton's in a way. They both have a clever, cartoonish, pop culture feel to them. The difference being Tim Burton's films are dark with a bit of silliness to them and Luhrmann's films are bright and colorful and loud! Luhrmann's films are know for their musical soundtracks. The music was amazing! I'll watch this one again and again!
