I'm so weirded out about this high ratings that I made the effort to create a Rotten Tomatoes account specifically to write this.
I watched the trailer and it seemed very funny with an interesting story but when watching I'm afraid the first impressions don't hold.
There's only a single likable character in the entire movie and he dies after 10 minutes of screen time. The other characters seem to be taken out of a "Gen Z video making fun of Millennials" trend.
The dialogs feel extremely forced and OH ALL THE LONG PAUSES. Felt like the entire cast was trying to deliver their lines like Chandler Bing, not in a good way.
The big fall out is even more absurd with a grown woman trying to leach on the friend's wealthy life and somehow the friend who had common sense was the one to apologize.
Just a terrible movie.
