As a Nigerian, the plotline of this movie would've been decent if its writers had a done abit of research about the complexity of Nigerian politics and tribal history. Simply pitting northern Fulanis (just one of many northern tribes) against the Ibos (there's more than one Ibo group in eastern Nigeria) as a sort of ideological struggle between Christian (victim/good) and Muslim (predator/evil) religions was in poor taste. Rolled my eyes when Azuka is described as the heir to the 'throne of the Ibo nation'...that said, this is a highly watchable movie, solid cinematography and the action scenes were gritty in the typical Antoine Fuqua style we've all come to enjoy.
