See this show can be both great and bad. I can understand why people negatively reviewed this. But it can also see what makes this show great. BY FAR it is nowhere near as great as I expected but it's a terrible honorable mention for an enjoyable time. While yes the show has shallow and boring characters and a predictable dialogue I don't think that was the point of this. and I think people are missing that. The point of this show wasn't to make a spectacle it was to make a viewing experience in which the viewers choose the story. So I won't say this show was a masterpiece cause by far it isn't but I will say it's an enjoyable experience. so It may or may not be your cup of tea.

This show gives a whole new take on the genre. And I LOVE IT. The usual shonen trope of mc with unachievable dreams and that all changes etc gets chewed up and spat out 300 times over in this show. It's amazing. If u haven't seen it I highly recommend watching it. ESPECIALLY if u love gore violence ettchiness etc. right, now's the spoilers. So the show is about Denji who is a teenager and a victim OF POVERTY. the show just went there. with arguably the greatest character but not really a character, Pochita, the chainsaw devil. Denji is broke obviously and so he works for the yakuza by killing devils because hes in debt after his dad killed himself before he could pay the yakuza. long story short. Denji just dies. the end. jks but he does die. But Pochita saves him by becoming Denji's heart. and so now Denji is Chainsaw Man. however he's basically kidnapped by [MANGA SPOILERS] the control devil who wants to steal pochita. and Denji is forced to work for the devil hunters or die. good show my only critisism is the pacing which is a bit iffy. cause the show seems really fast paced and that's fine. But once it gets to the action. the fight is an episode maybe even 2 episodes long. but I do highly recommend this to anyone who seems interested.
