I’m actually shocked how good this was. Let’s be real, 90% of shows and movies that come out now are ripped off other shows or previous ideas, unoriginal storylines/characters, lazy writing and usually nothing new that hasn’t already been done before. But this show, these creators and writers deserve beyond more recognition. I started watching Adventure Time when it first came out and have been watching ever since and was honestly worried seeing this adaptation but i was wrong! They explained so much that I didn’t even think about questioning when watching the original show, it got me emotional multiple times and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I finished it. I pray they make more seasons or another show at least. They keep it original, didn’t add political bs (sadly added in too much now a days, I love a show/movie that doesn’t need to lean one way or another to be a popular show. Just make a good show!) I 100% recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the original Adventure Time series. As another person said I’m their review “it might not be as good to us older fans but they did a good job being able to include and get more ‘noobies’ to watch and enjoy”.
