By far the worst MCU movie to date. This is what really solidified not wanting to see anymore of these movies in theaters. Constant shoving of comedy down your throat which I know is subjective, but still there is Barry a serious moment in the movie. Not going too far into spoilers, but a major plot point that’s brought up halfway into the movie, if it’s so easy to do since everyone seems to do it how has it never been done before. They have had major chances with the last two MCU movies to break away from the dates and now boring mold of the classic MCU formula and have squandered it by still trying to make everything into a comedy when a different genre would do better. This could’ve been a serious and heart felt movie where the hero who is supposed to be finding a purpose actually tries to find a purpose, but instead they say that at the beginning and then do absolutely nothing. The only good part about the incredibly rushed movie is Gorr and even he isn’t amazing unfortunately. So much potential and so much going on, but ultimately nothing happens and the movie falls completely flat.
