I wasn’t sure what this book was about or how I would like it. However, I kept listening to it, and as the story got more and more complex, I could not put it down. This is a delightfully woven tale about a seven year old girl who is different, her incredible grandmother, with an incredible past, divorced parents, strangers who are not really strangers at all, and somehow they all come together because of the grandmother’s indomitable spirit, and because of one very different and endearing young girl.
