Gabberelle Solon

From the first few moments of the film you can tell how much thought and consideration was put into it. The way they lean into their grittier cinematic influences without borrowing too heavily from them, Seven and Halloween comes to mind. I enjoyed the way it highlights how Batman weaponizes his persona as a deterrent against crime, and the battle for self identity that ultimately follows when you dedicate your whole reason to live to being one step ahead of the game to the point of obsession. Now it isn't a perfect movie, not many reboots are, though this one comes pretty freaking close, it's charm and execution is undeniable. I can say without a doubt there was no point where I found myself bored, I was engaged from start to finish. Between The BatMan and the Joker movie DC has taken the right step towards the kind of movies I know I and a lot of other people want to see.
