What started as a promising adaptation of a great anime turned south near the end of the show. The show started out great with decent actors and effects. The writing was ok at first but eventually I realized it was so rushed and didn’t feel like it relied on the source material at all. The rushed training and no tournament scene at all was crazy to me. In my opinion if they were going to rush this series into 5 episodes they shouldn’t have made it at all.
