Wasn't the worst but the plot wasn't engaging, it was an embarrassment that this book was read for English in University, needless to say I've transferred universities for a better English program. The romance was by far the most annoying part of the plot and detracted from some of the more interesting themes and ideas that book had, as well as from the family dynamic as a whole. To be honest, any story were a kid is bullied and its meant to be or signal romance is disgusting.
