No way this is the same Joe Pickett from the books. The basic premise about Joe is he has always been a professional LE officer. What LEO of any kind is still carrying a revolver is 2022? Too many changes and deviations from the main characters and the attempts to make Saddle Sting a scary place just come off as cliche.
