I'm more than halfway into the series & am completely hooked. It's well researched & informative. It shows how a woman with modern knowledge is placed in a time of the past and how she uses that knowledge to survive in this completely foreign time. The series so amazingly captures the zeitgeist of the 18h century and vividly paints the pictures of battles, witch trials & a lot more.
