Whenever I think of a comedy movie, I think of Dumb & Dumber, The Big Lebowski, Revenge of The Nerds, The Jerk, Superbad etc. After watching this movie deemed "The most triggering comedy of the year" I feel unamused, not even an audible laugh has came out of me, it's just one sided political humor that drags on too much. The comedy does not execute in order to be offensive, stale and overused. While giving credit where credit is due, the production is good, the acting is decent, the dialogue.. is politically drab. I feel like the plot of this "satire film" is more tailored to a very non woke audience that tells them "men are better at sports, boys cannot be girls while girls cannot be boys, journalists are mentally ill people, facts don't care about their feelings, and woke is bad" If you're going to pull off an offensive comedy, you need to be more subjective, pull punches, or go for the throat (but that's up to you if you want to go as far as you can, but be warned people will still be offended anyways, just don't bend the knee) While I am not the target audience nor am I politically experienced, I am open to any suggestions. I just don't like the film very much, it is not a preference of mine in this category. If you love this film and want to have a fun time laughing at the woke media within it's satire, then this is for you. PS: The culture war is stupid and there is no solving it. I am not for any side. And I have right to express myself.
