-NO SPOILERS- I just watched this at the theater in English Dub and I loved it! To think all of that film was hand-drawn! Wow! This film is a very personal film for Miyazaki according to one of his close friends. Having that in mind made me appreciate the film even more🫶🏼 Many people say the plot was lost, but it wasn't. I recommend you to keep an open mind and have a good imagination with magic. For you to understand this movie you have to understand that not everyone believes in heaven, many artists/writers like to create a fantasy world of the afterlife. I think that's why people got so lost. For you not to get lost, just know that the main character looks for his stepmother on a tower that turns out it a portal to the afterlife, the limbo, where living creatures and the dead (souls) live. That place is run by the main character's great uncle, which is why the main character can enter several worlds with weird creatures, one of them being the human realm we live in.

Today 04/08/23 the last episode was aired and let me tell you, I’ve never gotten so attached to show like I’ve gotten with the owl house. Immediately since episode one this show caught my eye, which surprise me because I’m very picky with animated shows. I felt an instant connection with luz when it came to her imagination bc I too at 13/14 years old was misunderstood for just having an active imagination. The writing, visuals, soundtracks, and voice acting are all perfect! I did loved how there was no filler episodes, is just enough for you to follow a great plot and connect with the characters. Watching this show since 2020 and follow it for 3 years did inspired me to reach the outside world and see that there’s people like me out there. For many others it inspired them to draw and/or write. This show went through a lot with Disney owning it, but thankfully Dana was given the chance to have an ending for the show. I definitely recommend for you to give this show a chance. Apply the 3 episode rule with this show if needed

I really thought this movie was going to be trash and not live up to the expectation of the game like many other movies/shows have done, but nope, I was wrong. Let me start by saying that the art style is fair, it pleases the game expressions and the audience at the same time. I LOVE how they added the soundtracks of the game into the movie, they fit in perfectly and were arranged if needed it. It was so much fun catching big and small details like the bug characters, how Mario double jumps, attacks, background scenarios, main characters from games (like Pauline) etc. the animation is BEAUTIFUL which is why they were very smooth on adding those details I previously mentioned. The plot is nice and I was very satisfied through out the whole movie til the end. I wish they would’ve added a little bit more of info, but the end they chose does lead the audience on believing “oh so this is where all the games/levels start”. I very much enjoyed it, I had so much fun finding those Easter eggs, kinda sad how Daisy wasn’t in it, but besides that, loved it.

I watched this movie when I was 8 and now watching it in 2023, I still love it. My sister who’s always on her phone was able to leave her phone alone throughout the whole movie. She were never bored watching it. The animation doesn’t even look “old” for a 2007 film. This movie is underrated. I love connecting the dots and with this movie, I had fun connecting them, plus the plot twist it! Pay attention to its details! Character design and even the background animation of the buildings and the thought that had to be put on it since is based of the main character going to the future, is mind blowing to me.

I’ve been in love with animation for a long time now. I cried when the movie started. I was showered with beautiful songs and animation! I’ve been a fan of these voice actors for a long time and I’m so glad Bob’s burgers was the first animated movie I got to watch on theaters!💜💜💜💜💜

I’m a fan of Gabriel, but this show... is not as funny as I thought it’ll be and I hate how the laughs are put, not even 30 second pass and the “audience” is already laughing again, it get annoying at some points.
