This is an overall news coverage statement. Your coverage of this pandemic has been exemplary. What I would like to see is videos of hope and sacrifice be considered news and not entertainment. For every moment of coverage with a real but overwhelming message of what isn’t happening or numbers that frankly emotionally paralyses people who are already home and scared, let there be the same moment of coverage of hope. Placed not only at the end of the coverage but throughout. Possibly dedicate a nightly block of time for coverage of what we’re doing for each other. Normal people impacting their communities in large and small ways. Even out the concern with the hope. Be a beacon and an informer. Thank you.
