Although billed as a romance, there is a lot more to this book than that. engaging story with well-developed characters who grow as the story progresses. The story revolves around two central characters and their burgeoning relationship, having found each other through a serial killer spree. the narrative flow is fun and shows us a glimpse of the NYPD system, the FBI profilers, and of course the personal aspects of the people involved. A gripping story that does take a romantic route, it should be read for its excellent storyline that fits within the crime/drama realms first and the romance second. Highly recommended and worth noting that there is a sequel to this book and I am hoping more to come with this new duo.

tackling a totally different side of life and one that is often looked at in group terms, Mr. Lucky is a more personal view of the early LGBT movement, a journey through the confusion to acceptance which covers all aspects of that journey both the good and the bad. A personal story, a heartbreaking journey it is really worth notice and offers insights into a very different world.
